We're looking for a driven and visionary EdTech leader ready to elevate learning and teaching by bringing data, digital tools, and pedagogy together. In this strategic role, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming classroom practices, empowering teachers, and building our digital muscle across the network. If you’re passionate about technology, education, and impact at scale – we’d love to meet you.

This role reports to the Group Head of Learning and Teaching and is a consultancy contract fixed for 2 years.

The role involves ensuring that each Enko school:

  • Uses the Toddle platform effectively and consistently for planning, assessment, reporting, and communication.
  • Has reliable and actionable academic data that inform teaching, learning, and school improvement.
  • Is supported in developing a clear EdTech strategy aligned with Enko's academic vision and philosophy
  • Receives the training, resources, and guidance needed to maximise the impact of Toddle and educational technology.

This involves:

  • Leading the project management of Toddle rollout across all schools, ensuring smooth adoption and usage.

  • Developing and maintaining Toddle as the central space for collecting and analysing academic performance data and curriculum planning.

  • Training and supporting school teams to build internal capacity for data-driven decision-making.

  • Monitoring progress, providing timely insights and monthly reports, and collaborating with the Director of Learning.

  • Staying current on EdTech innovations and research, piloting new tools, and guiding schools through implementation.

  • Engaging directly with Heads of School, teachers, and administrative teams to build ownership and sustainability.
The Role will involve using the following levers to ensure success and progress:

1. Platform Capabilities (Toddle and other tools)

  • Leverage the full functionality of Toddle—planning, assessment, portfolios, reporting, communication—to simplify and improve school workflows.

  • Advocate for and customise Toddle features to meet the diverse needs of 16 schools.

  • Use analytics and back-end reporting from Toddle to track adoption and usage.

2. Data Systems and Infrastructure

  • Design or refine centralised academic data systems (e.g., dashboards, templates, shared tools).

  • Standardise assessment input and output formats across schools to allow for scalable analysis.

  • Set up systems to automatically flag trends, gaps, and opportunities in student performance.

3. Training & Capacity Building

  • Deliver targeted professional development to teachers, middle leaders, and Heads of School.

  • Develop clear user guides, videos, and toolkits to ensure schools are equipped to implement systems independently.

  • Identify and coach "champions" in each school to embed practices locally.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with:

    • Heads of School – to drive accountability, local implementation, and feedback.

    • Academic Coordinators – to embed system use into day-to-day teaching and monitoring.

    • Director of Learning – to align data and EdTech initiatives with academic strategy.

    • HR, Admissions, Operations – to integrate Toddle and data insights into broader decision-making.

5. Leadership Engagement and Influence

  • Provide compelling data and visualisations that inform decisions and inspire action at the leadership level.

  • Run termly briefings or strategy sessions to keep school leaders focused and aligned.

  • Build trust and momentum by celebrating early wins and recognising progress in each school.

6. EdTech Pilots and Innovation

  • Test and evaluate new technologies in a structured, low-risk way (e.g., in one school or one subject).

  • Use pilot findings to create evidence-based recommendations for wider adoption.

  • Stay informed on global trends in digital learning and assessment and translate them into practical guidance for schools.

7. Governance & Accountability

  • Use OKRs, KPIs, and school-level scorecards to track progress transparently.

  • Align system use and data analysis with inspection readiness, reporting cycles, and budget planning.

  • Incorporate system targets into school leadership performance reviews where appropriate.

About Enko Education

Enko Education is a fast-growing group of African international schools, increasing access to the world's best universities for learners across Africa.

Enko Education has developed innovative programmes leading to globally recognised and sought-after qualifications. Since the opening of its first school in Yaoundé in September 2014, Enko Education has established an African group of 15 international schools in 10 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. More than 7,000 students from primary to secondary benefit from international education at a fraction of the cost charged by other international schools on the continent. We provide individualized counselling to our learners to support them in selecting the right universities and then securing both admission and financing for their studies. We offer an outstanding learning experience striving to educate our learners with Africa at heart and the world in mind.

The Enko Education model has already yielded outstanding results with graduates currently enrolled in some of the most prestigious universities worldwide such as Yale College in the USA, Sciences Po and Ecole Polytechnique in France and the University of Toronto in Canada.

We are financially supported by international development institutions and funds including Proparco, I&P, Adiwale, BIO Invest, Oiko Credit and Liquid Africa, to achieve our growth objective of reaching 20,000 students by 2028.

For 2025, we plan to acquire new schools in countries including but not limited to Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola, and South Africa (countries are subject to change).
