Job Purpose
The Music Coach will be responsible for developing and leading a vibrant music program that promotes creativity, discipline, and artistic expression among students. The role includes teaching instrumental and vocal music, organizing performances, and fostering a culture of musical appreciation across both primary and secondary levels.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and implement a dynamic music curriculum aligned with Enko Education’s academic and extracurricular standards.
Teach instrumental and vocal lessons to primary and secondary students.
Lead and prepare school choirs, bands, and ensembles for concerts, assemblies, and competitions.
Coordinate school music events, cultural shows, and performances.
Identify and mentor students with exceptional musical abilities.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into cross-curricular projects.
Manage, maintain, and ensure the proper use of all musical instruments and equipment.
Evaluate and track students’ musical progress, providing regular feedback and reports.
Participate actively in staff meetings, school activities, and Enko professional development programs.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Music, Music Education, or related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in teaching or coaching music within a school environment.
Ability to teach both vocal and instrumental music (multi-instrumental ability is an advantage).
Experience in organizing and leading musical performances or productions.
Excellent communication, leadership, and classroom management skills.
Commitment to student-centered learning and fostering creativity.
